The core  textbook  Blue Book of Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers, written by Professor of Kansas State University (USA) Natasha Rozhkovskaya, will be  translated into Russian and published  by «Tamara Rozhkovskaya Publisher» in 2025. The English version of this book can be downloaded from  AMS Open Math Notes.

  • Each chapter contains a study of an art object from the collection of Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, followed by the mathematical description, a list of mathematical problems, biographical notes on the artist (see   I-70 Math.)

This seminar is designed for a university-level audience and features a diverse range of speakers, including mathematicians, scientists, engineers, computer scientists, art historians, architects, artists, and educators.

The book Math Circles for Elementary School Students has been published  in three languages: Russian, English, and Portuguese.

 

  • The Russian edition (original)  was published by  «Tamara Rozhkovskaya Publisher», Novosibirsk, Russia in 2011. Sold out. No reprint expected.
  • The English edition (a translation from Russian) was  published by American Mathematical Society, Providence, RI, USA  in 2014 and became an AMS bestseller in 2015.  It is available to purchase  through  Amazon and the AMS Bookstore.

  • The Portuguese edition (a translation from Russian) was published by  IMPA, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil in 2022.  The book can be ordered through  Livros de Matematica.
